Billing / Payment / Refund

How do I pay for the service?

Mechanigo offers flexible payment options. You can pay online via our website using credit cards, GCash, Maya, other e-wallets, or online bank transfer, even after the service is completed. We also offer installment payment options through selected banks, Billease, or GGives via GCash. If you prefer, we also accept cash payments after service. Please note that all payments made after service will require a reservation fee to secure your slot.

Why do you collect a reservation fee?

We collect a reservation fee to secure your booking slot and ensure efficient scheduling. If a slot isn’t used, the time is wasted and could have been allocated to another customer. This fee helps us manage our schedule and provide timely service for everyone.

Do you offer installment payments?

Yes, we offer installment payment options through selected banks. You can also use Billease or GGives via GCash for more flexible payment arrangements. If you have any questions about the available options or need assistance, please feel free to contact our online service advisors.

Where can I find my receipt?

Once booked for an appointment, you will receive a digital copy of your Job Order that will serve also as your Billing Statement. Hard copy of the Official Receipt can be requested from our service advisors prior or after your appointment.

How can I bill it to my company?

We offer the option to bill services to your company. Just provide the company name, address, and TIN, and we will include these details on the official receipt upon request.

How can I resolve my billing issues?

For any billing concerns, please reach out to your assigned service advisor, who will be happy to assist and resolve the issue promptly. You can also email us at ask@mechanigo.ph for further assistance.

Please note that all refund requests are subject to our discretion. How long does it take to get my refund?

Pricing

How can I get an estimate?

You can request an estimate online by selecting your location, car and services. In most cases, we will give you a price instantly. You will see the breakdown of labor fees and parts costs. There will never be any surprises or hidden costs. If an instant price is not available, we will send you a quote within 24 hours, usually sooner

How is the price calculated?

All of our pricing is determined by our Fair Price Calculator, which is based on decades’ worth of car repair information and the industry standard labor guide. Our parts pricing is based directly on our wholesalers’ prices. Our online pricing system is fair and impartial; we give you a transparent price.

Do you have hidden fees and charges?

NONE. All fees and charges will be reflected on your quotation that will be sent to you via email, sms, phone call, viber and Facebook messenger.

What is your hourly rate?

We don’t charge for our services based on time. We give you a fair and transparent labor price quote, and you pay the same price whether it takes less or more time for the mechanic to complete the service.

Is it more expensive than going to shops and casas?

We don’t have overhead costs like shops and casas. As a national brand, we are able to negotiate better pricing from parts vendors than independent local garages. The bigger the service, the more you save. For smaller services (e.g., oil changes), the cost may be slightly higher than local shops because mechanics must earn a minimum amount to justify the cost of traveling to you. If you value your time, the convenience of a mechanic coming to you may easily justify spending a little more than local shops on those smaller services. And of course, you will always get a fair and transparent price before you book a service.

Is there an additional fee for the mechanic to come to my location?

No. We don’t charge a drive fee or convenience fee.

Is there a cancellation fee?

We appreciate as much notice as possible if you need to change an appointment. It’s free to cancel more than 48 hours prior to your appointment. If you cancel within 48 hours of an appointment you will be charged a cancellation Fee.

Am I supposed to tip the mechanic?

Tipping is not required, but it’s always appreciated. The best way to show your appreciation is by recommending the mechanic to your friends or leaving a positive review. Your support helps us continue providing excellent service!

What if the mechanic finds that my car needs more or less services than I had requested?

You’re always in control. If our mechanic finds your car doesn’t need all the services you requested, our online service advisors will remove those unneeded services and lower your bill, right on the spot. If your car needs additional repair services, our mechanic will provide you with an itemized list of what you need. You can decide to accept or decline those additional services.

Is there a fee for a mechanic to diagnose my car?

Yes. We charge a diagnostic fee to come to you and diagnose your car. This fee covers the inspection and diagnostic time and cost of driving to you. Diagnostic fees start at Php 1,500, but may vary by market. Start a quote to understand pricing- there’s no commitment until you confirm an appointment!

What does the diagnostic service include?

If your car has a problem, you can book a mechanic to perform a diagnostic. A mechanic will come to your location and inspect your car. Our mechanics go through a step-by-step process to rule out or confirm any part(s) failures. Diagnosing a problem is a process. Sometimes the only way to prove that a part is defective is to replace it and recheck the car. Your mechanic will diagnose the car and then provide preliminary recommendations and repair estimates, based on their visual inspection and any tests performed. The inspection report may include photos, test results, audio notes, recommended services, and a service estimate (if applicable).

We also offer high-quality aftermarket parts, often from the same manufacturer as the original parts.
